MaVilla Posted December 12, 2022 Share Posted December 12, 2022 Critchley didnt work out, but in fairness he was Gerrard's assistant, and the club ran to Gerrard's tune. Critchley was a very, very highly rated coach before he joined us, granted he had never worked at the top level before which probably hindered him a bit as he had to learn on the job while carrying Gerrard (who didnt coach). IIRC his thread was very approving when he first joined, im not sure he can really be blamed for Gerrard's debacle, look how much Dank's changed the team/formation when Gerrard left, its quite possible that Critchley also didnt agree with the lineups/setup behind the scenes, i suppose we will never know. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
