But now we want him dropped ( at the time they are negotiating with Barca for a permanent deal ) for a game that will mean an awful lot to Coutinho. From listening to and reading Gerrards words before and after the Burnley game i knew this would happen. Disappointed for Emi but also understand the thinking. 5 games in 15 days means that Phil will be back on the bench at some point amd we might find both of them playing together at some point . Plus if Phil is ineffectve Emi will get the last 30 mins tonight. I think that too is madness against liverpool as we wont have a lit of the ball so not sure why we need two strikers. However i appreciate the way both played so can see the logic in that. Nakamba hasnt played more than what 15 mins in 5 months amd you throw him to start against liverpool?? Surely if you was going to do this you would have given him more minutes vs burnley?
