useless Posted October 10, 2023 Share Posted October 10, 2023 I've never said any brother is any better than an other brother, the only thing I can remember saying is that Aaron Ramsey was as good as Jacob Ramsey at youth level. Popular Post useless Posted October 11, 2023 Popular Post Share Posted October 11, 2023 As far as I know seventeen year olds aren't allowed to sign a professional contract for any longer than three years, Kellyman signed his pro deal on September 20th of last year, so now has less than two years on his current deal. Usually when highly rated prospects turn eighteen we offer them a contract extention soon after as at that point they can sign a contract for as long as they want, as far as I'm aware Chukwuemeka has been the only player to turn down a second professinal deal with us, but to be fair to him he at least did a professional contract in the first place, some top academy players won't sign a pro deal at all and leave their club with little int he way of compensation, something we've benefited from ourselves, for example when we signed Iroegbunam. I imagine we're now working on something with Kellyman and his agents in the background and something will be announced in the coming months, I would be surprised if he doesn't sign on for longer, he seems to be enjoying himself, has got his England call-up, training with our first team, and a few first team minutes, his family must be happy with the way things have gone as have now allowed his younger brother to join the academy too 4 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
