Boubacar Kamara matches our profile and will be cheap as he's out of contract in the summer.

But because of that fact he may well prefer to assess his options and sign with a bigger wage and signing fee

Really hope that we are attempting to go for Kamara now.

The funny thing about Alli is that even though most of the stick he gets pertains to his worth ethic, he actually still puts up generally favourable numbers in terms of his defensive output and pressing. It's just his actual end product and general quality in possession that hss completely dried up.

Not that signing him because of the Nakamba news would make any sense anyway. Have said it previously but even more in agreement with the Kamara shout given just how little remains on his contract. Can see him having suitors he'd find more attractive than Villa though.

Saw an article today where Gerrard said that Lange would include whether a player is vaccinated or not in the club’s criteria for assessing a player.

There you go, and this is why clubs and players are cagey about revealing the extent ti why they’re absent.

Says to their character. Also being unvaccinated is a massive risk factor. Look at kimmich basically being unable to play for 2 months. Or in other sports where players go from the top of the game to struggling mightily after covid (Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics is the first example to spring to mind)

It’s also sending a message to any unvaccinated players currently at the club.

Who is this in reply to? Both Kamaras are on the way up, whether we think they will be good enough is another matter but their profiles are on the rise

just a reminder, not replying to anyone.

Seems unbelievable that players are not being made to have all the jabs, their bubbles are bigger then most and they are employed in a contact sport. Should be made to have it.

We were badly affected by COVID last January window and we didn't address this enough in the marketplace, it's the wrong window for long-term squad building plans but I think a couple of wise purchases should be made, we cannot aim higher if we haven't got the squad to cover every eventuality.

Doubt it'll impact our business but might mean if someone who might be at AFCON was on the list for the upcoming summer that they now might make it into our January plans.

Shame for Trez as he could've done with the minutes. Doubt Traore would've been able to go anyway

We need a DM in Jan, it just shows when Nakamba is out of the side we struggle, whilst Dougie did an impressive job yesterday he didn't break up the play like Nakamba does. Plus he's wasted sitting deep.
