rodders0223
Gerrard really does come out with some weird stuff at times.
Delphinho123
If Irroegbunam is getting on the pitch ahead of him when he's likely to be off on loan anyway, it's a concern. I'm sure he'll be gone in the next couple of weeks.

hippo
It's prep for the opening PL games. Gilbert and Sanson very unlikely to be involved. Don't get the mystery to be honest.

That we have over 22 players on tour and some players will miss out each week. Sanson played Walsall and Leeds, misses Roar and comes back for United. What's weird about that? Naka and Young didn't feature today either btw Edited July 20, 2022 by CVByrne
lexicon
Great when he came on today. He's really stepped up to the plate this pre-season and pled his case - he's done a lot of work off the pitch as he's in excellent shape and has given it 100% when he's had an opportunity. Really admire the desire given how some would take the snubs personally and just put in a transfer request.
Popular Post UpTheVilla26
I've said it all along, if we can get a tune out of him, he's a very good player and we don't need another Midfielder. He just needs to stay fit and have a run of 8-10 games in the team.
Ghost
He's deceptively quick. A couple of times his sprints left the United player trailing.

Think he's a very useful option when we play so narrow as he knows hot utilise the space on the bylines more effectively than our other midfielders. HalfTimePost
His final decision/ball was bad today. But he was better, faster, more accurate, more attacking and at a higher intensity than McGinn. I'd probably still choose McGinn over Sanson until he's been more effective and less likely to lose a ball in an important area but I don't think we need to throw Sanson aside as some have considered through the summer. Particularly with Carney and Luiz's contact situations, he's not bad enough to toss aside and we may want the body Inthe squad anyway if we decided to sell one of those two or Nakamba or decided to loan out Iroegbunam Edited July 23, 2022 by HalfTimePost

With the substitute situation increasing to 5 this coming season, Sanson could become an important player.
jacksonho
Though his link up play with KKH and Bailey tonight was excellent. He didn’t seem to get caught in possession as much tonight either. Still didn’t boss the midfield but much better than against Leeds. One of his crosses was terrible, one of the fans near me really got in his back after that one.
