the blues will sell out the final with ease, got a few mates who queued for sillly hours for tickets - dont think noses have grasped the concept of telephones or the internet

lets not forget we barely sold out (might not have in fact; not 100% sure) the semi-final last yr, albeit against a team who turned us over by 7 a couple of weeks before

apparently last time the words removed got to wembley they lost to a team who had a goalie with a broken neck and lost lol; if true you couldnt make it up

How can you say with ease based on a couple of noses queueing over night> 6000 left with a week to go!!! the numbers of fans dont meet what they were give SIMPLES

We played them in the league cup and.....lost

We played them in the league and bottled it.

Excuses, excuses.

When was the last time they had done better than us iin all 3 domestic competitions? Answer please!

Not sure the reason for this question, or it's relevance but in the interest of not leaving the question unanswered I think they have achieved it only once in the the 1967-68 season.

Without looking, what about 02/03? They finished above us in the league and we exited the FA Cup in the 3rd round.

As Voinjama pointed out we did better in the League Cup and Blues also went out to Fulham in the 3rd round of the F.A. cup

And there was me thinking the league was far from over and we were still in the FA Cup...

Getting sick of seeing the inbreds on the local news. 200 of them at the fans forum at Longbrige. That's their average gate for the season. One of them saying who would they like to play in Europe next season. Imagine the shame of having the orcs associated with Birmingham running round Europe .

A Bloozer is walking his dog when a genie appears & grants him one wish. The Bloozer asks for his dog to win crufts. The genie looks at the dog, which only has three legs, one ear & is blind & says ”I can grant wishes mate, but not miracles.” The genie suggests he should choose another wish. He thinks hard & then asks for the Blues to beat Arsenal at Wembley. The genie says ”OK..give me another look at that dog!”

After waiting 55 years to appear in a major Wembley final, Birmingham City fans might have expected the club's preparations for Sunday's Carling Cup showpiece to have been handled with meticulous care.

But Sportsmail can reveal that because of an embarrassing breakdown in communications, Alex McLeish and his players will travel without an essential piece of kit - the Cup final suit.

Tradition dictates that Cup finalists take a pre-match stroll across the Wembley turf in specially tailored suits, and Birmingham had struck a deal with retailers Harvey Nichols for £9,000-worth of outfits for players and managerial staff.

But a mix-up over the colour of the suits meant the designers were unable to complete the order in time to produce them for the game against Arsenal, leaving McLeish and his players dismayed.

The players had asked for suits which complemented the club's official ties, which are a mixture of navy blue, sky blue and white.

When they were told those colours were not available, they agonised over whether to accept alternatives. By the time they had made their minds up, it was too late to have anything.

So the players will make do with their regular club suits, although Harvey Nichols will still provide new ties and shoes.

A source said: 'There was a bit of dilly-dallying by the players but it has since got a bit messy. However, we understand Alex has sorted out any confusion. It's not going to detract from the day.'

It is not the first time Birmingham have become embroiled in controversy over their clothing for a showpiece Wembley occasion.

Paul Tait caused a stir 16 years ago following the Auto Windscreens Shield final for wearing a T-shirt with an offensive slogan about rivals Aston Villa.
