He has the quality to start, but has definitely been trying too hard lately. He's the sort of player that competition hurts rather than helps. Think it depends on the game. There have been other games under Emery where he’s looked really dangerous in attack. Seems to have happened on a few occasions since emery came in. Emery has said that he sees a lot of himself in Cash and is usually particularly hard on his fullbacks in general. They're closest to the sideline and he asks a lot of them. But Emery also tears into Luiz all the time and he's arguably our best player so I wouldn't look too much into it. I think Emery wants to turn Cash into his version of Coke at Sevilla and Alberto Moreno at Villareal. A FB/wide midfielder who can play up and down that side of the pitch - be a solid defender but also contribute in the build up. But Cash really struggles with being higher up on the pitch with any task that's not hugging the sideline or being a box crasher.
