His little touch to set up his strike was sublime, gave the keeper absolutely no chance. Quick feet and incredible skill. He's a brilliant striker when he's confident, and that self belief is sky high at the moment.

Pundits were drooling over it on MotD.  Obviously it's not going to get the headlines that Garnacho's overhead kick did but it was a delicious finish. The quick feet made it, Vicario was not expecting the shot to come as early as it did, he'd taken half a step to his left when Ollie controlled the ball with the outside of his boot and by the time he'd got his foot planted the shot was heading towards goal and it was too late.

That’s 7 in the league this season. In all competitions he’s up to 12.

For what it’s worth, 7 goals is the most he’s got for us after 13 games (arbitrary amount of goals and games there).

In previous seasons it’s taken him between 17 and 23 games to reach 7.

Too much to hope he reaches 20 league goals AND gets more than Yorke’s 25 goals in all competitions during 1995/96?

Just seen. 38 league games for Emery...20 goals ..so if he just carries on like he is he will do it .

Just a well earned rest right? 🙏🏽

Emery hinted at an injury but I'm pretty sure he's fine.

He gets ten and half bells knocked out of him every game and keeps chugging along.

The iron man.

Emery said in the presser today that Watkins is 50/50 for Sundays game, he also said he is only thinking about this game and not any other. I have a feeling he will play against Bournemouth, the guy is one of the fittest players in the league and seems to have a very good injury record here….fingers crossed

His injury record has been exceptional for us though.

You don’t need to be told on here, it’s a simple fact

Yes very true until it isn’t.  While history gives us a guide to the future it’s far from certain.  Relying on Ollie continuing to being fit 99% of the time is incredibly risky, one bad moment and we are in trouble.  Fortunately according to Emery this is a minor injury currently but not having a significant back up could hinder a season that has started so well.  Duran is so raw.
