His last game in Europe was February 2008, Messi or Ronaldo had not won a Ballon Dor yet

Erling Haaland was 7 😛

Also I think Ronaldo "stats" arent incredible on paper so the Twitter expert as probably don't rare him though he played in a much tougher era. Serie A late 90s was not a friendly place for strikers

His stats up until that knee injury were ridiculous. And he was doing everything at break neck speed and making Italian defenders look silly every week. Think he scored almost 50 goals one season for PSV as a teenager, then followed it up with 42 at Barca the next season. The guy would have been the greatest ever if not for injuries.

Which was 15 years ago so realistically very few people under the age of 25 will remember him playing live. Plus his last 2 years at Real weren't great as he was struggling with his weight and they'd signed RVD so he didn't play loads. Meaning it's nearly 20 years since he was at his prime and with how bizarre football is time wise that might as well be ancient history (Charlton, Birmingham, Blackburn and Portsmouth were all top flight sides back then).

And a young Steve Bruce was ready to take the managerial world by storm 😛

Its strange I think Ronaldo suffered in the online hype game because of injuries but also he never played in England which might have blinkered over the lack of social media in his time. Henry for example is a year older and is still talked about highly because Sky/BT rerun old clips from him so younger fans can see him

Ronaldo also retired a lot younger.

Was only about 2 years between both of them retiring, Henry spent his last 5 seasons in US and Ronaldo last 3 seasons in Brazil

Worst part about Rory is how he never wears a shirt without a collar. He dresses like a professor from the 1800's. Ties in perfectly with his pompous attitude about football.

Smug little prick ain't he haha

He said Gabby Jesus will score more than him. This guy is honestly the worst person in the online football-sphere.

If you guys are watching, engaging and reposting him and his channel he’s got exactly the result he was looking for.
