PaulC
Ronaldo and messi will still score 20 goals in a season for us in my opinion. If messi played for Liverpool or city you could double that goal tally. Not sure Ronaldo would though or even be a regular in the Liverpool team now. Ronaldo is much better than Salah, but probably on par with Mane now. I would say that Salah would struggle in a Villa side - he would be a glorified El Ghazi (and I really like El Ghazi)

Except for Jack we wouldn't have another player close to that, maybe Reina He would still get 10/12 goals but we would bring him down to our level. Ronaldo has shown before he can score consistently playing with poor to average players lol

Ronaldo has more league goals than any Liverpool forward this season and has played less games in a more competitive division this season. If Liverpool got offered Messi or Ronaldo tomorrow they would snatch at it and any other club in the world would as well

He doesn’t exactly track back and defend does he. Be a useful sub for them though.

lapal_fan
Messi ain't leaving Barca is he? He's currently negotiating a new contract. He'll hit 35/36 and go play for Newell's in Argie.
villa4europe
Sky sports now reporting it as abidal called in to a meeting to discuss his future such a bullshit headline must be hunter who is their expert on the agenda for a behind closed doors meeting between two barca employees as ballague is still in Rome searching for ancelottis wife
sne
He does something every season to hint that he might be thinking of moving. And since Barca are a fan run club (well not really but still) no president would be re-elected if they we're the one who let Messi leave so he gets a new contract. It's as predictable as Neymar getting injured or suspended for his sisters birthday.

Balague is bad but bloody hell Hunter completely out does him with the bullshit. Every week for 4 years the clearing in the woods said Mourinho is going back to Real Madtid on Irish radio. Knowing how much every footballer wants to play for us we should start tapping him up... Shame this didn’t happen a few weeks ago as we might have been able to swap him for Lansbury and Hogan in the January window.

villa4europe
Going back to the messi or Ronaldo to Liverpool thing... If you think either would automatically get in to that front 3 then you don't understand how Liverpool play Messi would probably get a game for them but deeper in the midfield 3, plus from his pep days his desire to win the win the ball back high up is actually pretty good, Ronaldo just doesn't fit and would require a tactic shift from klopp that he might not want to make Edited February 5, 2020 by villa4europe

villa4europe
Yep he's something like 4th on the list vs the PL top 6 despite never playing in the league But he wouldn't score vs the likes of us and Norwich
