A lot of my recent ones are all on German TV through this year but yes - there's a chance you may hear something of mine if you have watched enough crappy reality shows on MTV and the like Edited November 14, 2021 by CosmicVillan
Popular Post Chindie Posted December 9, 2021 Author VT Supporter Popular Post Share Posted December 9, 2021 Dios are one of those things I have as a long term goal. And both of these are probably the kind of thing I'd love to aim for one day. The first one is actually very close to an idea I have had in my head for literally years for a 'gritty' city scene, though mine is inspired by one of my favourite Moon Knight panels. It's all the more impressive because it's 1:6 scale, not a popular scale for people to work in due to the sheer size. But the detail is fantastic and it instantly has atmosphere dripping off it. The second is basically cheating because the guy's from East Asia. In the hobby fields I float in, being from that region is like being Celtic or Rangers in the SPL - you've got the cheat codes on. But regardless, it's a really great Tokyo back alley scene. Tonnes of detail and super flexible in how you set it up. It's in 1:12 scale, the most popular scale for action figure work and that makes it a bit more manageable. But it's badass. It's straight out of a Yakuza movie or something. Done really well. It's kinda amazing what you can knock out with some insulation foam, some basic paint and a craft knife. And a **** load of talent.

Its going quite well and I am enjoying it. I will post my first 4 efforts later once I get some pictures I have kept up with the painting thing. My Mrs got me a big canvas for xmas so I giving it a go. This is the progress so far. It is supposed to be someone trying to work out the standard model before release into the universe (It kind of works in my head) 10

Seat68
Not sure if this is weird or not. For the past 6 months I have been collecting geographically specific postcards. I have been buying Skegness postcards, mainly old Butlins ones, but old Skegness town ones as well. My wife doesn't know and they are stashed away in a drawer. They are all inexpensive. I am in too deep now and bought some more today. I am considering a drive to Skegness in the next couple of weeks purely to look at and buy postcards. She is going to **** divorce me. Rodders
Why Skegness in particular? Skeggy is one of those place names I was sure, as a kid, was used as a made up place to indicate somewhere unpleasant and undesirable. I remember being genuinely shocked to discover it was a real place

I also am fond of old fashioned dowdy seaside towns.
JoshVilla
I do wedding/function gigs (which has slowed down since the pandemic, I'm hoping to try and ramp it up again this year). Usually as a bass player but trying to get some more guitar gigs. Aside from that, I do Karate twice a week, then when the little one falls asleep I'll get a bit of time on the Playstation.

Thats the type of nerdy obsession that i can get on board with A man needs a hobby, and a lot of us have what would be considered strange hobbies. Women don't tend to be wired the same way and don't get involved in stuff like this.

Seat68
Almost got rumbled today postman arrived and passed my latest stash to my daughter. 3 seperate postcards. 2 were excellent and by the look of it from the late 40s and early 50s. Another is very interesting in that it pictures part of the old Butlins camp that was a hotel but became repurposed. Mid 50s postcard.
