Ha, I watch a YouTube channel ‘Abroad in Japan’ and he is close to becoming a family mart chicken I think. I think the first I’ll have when I go is a 7/11 egg Mayo sandwich followed by a fruit and cream sandwich.

Ha yeah, love Abroad in Japan.  I don't blame him though, the chicken is so convenient and pretty damn good too.

I'm just here to warn you about rabbit-holes in retro gaming. Stick to consoles. I've gone down the DOS gaming route and the configurations in CPU/Graphics/Soundcards are endless. I'm still short of a 486 with a VESA local bus implementation. (Many of them are destroyed by leaky batteries on the motherboard)

It's endless fun though :D

I always fancied buying all the parts for and making a proper windows 95 machine. I miss making my own wallpaper patterns and having the maze and pipes screenscravers lol.

Bit spooky @Ingram85 mate, as well as liking narrowboats like you, I'm also a fan of Abroad in Japan! I've just finished watching a video of the latter. I really like the way Chris does his videos, seems like a cool guy.

Career choice. My dad still harps about how he almost stopped me from "wasting" my money buying a Amiga. :D

Avoid motherboards with one of these:image.png.afaf513385a75a95d720a184ab214d48.png or one of these: image.png.8dc31c50b56bdad39e511f8260a3f6ba.png

Great minds chap! Yeah his sarcastic Britishness contrasted against his more conservative surroundings make for some great viewing. I love Natsuki and Ryotaro too. I may be a bit in love with Sharla from ‘sharmeleon’ also. But my favourites are John Daub and Tabieats. Both fantastic Japanese channels. ‘Life where I’m from’ also.

Sharla does seem lovely. I'll check out the others cheers. Looking for a good Korean YouTube vlog as well, as that place fascinates me as well!

I used to watched 'Serpentza', as he was one of the first western vloggers in China, but his suff has got quite heavy in recent times. He had to leave China along with a few of his friends and some of the videos since have been quite disturbing as to how closely they were monitored, assuming he is telling the truth.

Funnily enough I'm doing just that at the moment. I actually had all the parts apart from a spare screen, and I think I left one of those in the loft at the last place when moved. I'm planning to play Neverhood on it. But I'll do some pipes too, now that you mention it.

I always enjoyed Yeonguk Namja (Korean Englishman), although a lot of it's basically food porn for me.

He's a bit of a big deal now, regularly got Hollywood stars on and stuff trying food etc.

Mikey Chen/Strictly Dumpling just spent 3 months in Seoul and had some good vlogs up.

Has the lego (not official) Villa Park been posted on here yet?

I got it for Christmas, and had a blast making it - although there are many ridiculously small pieces, and pieces which are basically the same colour, meaning you have to sift through them all when you start, otherwise you'll tear your hair out.

I’ve seen one other person with it and have never found any way to buy one. Can’t find it on google, eBay or anywhere. The one with the fancy looking purple box and transparent stickers?

I'm kinda surprised no one else has posted about / made it yet.

It's clearly recognisable as VP, and sure, you could pick fault with aspects of it, but as I say, I had a blast making it.

I got it from FOCO, but it's sold out now. Google BRXLZ Stadium and you'll see many Premier League grounds available.

And yes Ingum, there are some stickers. Oddly, one wasn't required for the build, and says 'Villaajax woz ere'.
