Match Thread: Burton v Villa

Proto-Villa - didn't create much of anything, defended well and held our luck when we needed to, not a lot in the way of football, the opposition made one mistake and we're one up.

We need to be a lot better than this in the second half.

At least we punished their mistake, there have been times this year that we would've fluffed it... it sounds like Bruce will give them a rollicking at HT, so I expect a serious rise in performance second half.

Really want Hogan to bag a goal.

Reading to get the hairdryer at half time and come out to win 6-7.

Really hope Hogan can score today. Prove we're not completely reliant on Codger.

Results are not going our way, but at the end of the day, if we get our 3 points, we are STILL CLOSER to the playoff places than we were.

If we want it it is going to be a hell of a fight.

Not a single result going our way at the moment so looking less and less possible.

We don't need the results to go our way every single week. We can afford 1 or 2 or even 3 bad weeks.

No we aren't. We are the same gap away we were yesterday only with a game less as things stand.

Regardless of what people think of the importance of passing % I think most would agree that 29% in the attacking 1/3rd could and should be improved upon.
