I just think Chester has been so fantastic, better than any CB we've had over the past few years I'd say, though he doesn't have much competition. terrytini
Chester by a million billion miles. The rock around whom any success we have had had been built. All but ever present and a real Captain. Apart from a couple of games blip early this year he has been immense. For me Kodja does 1 really really hard thing very very well. Chester does 90 minutes impeccably. And honourable mention for Baker . And the run we are on now coincides almost exactly with the return of Jedi, his value is huge too.
villa4europe
Probably Chester but I think after years of injuries and being a bit shit at times baker deserves a lot of love for his performances this year, I thought he was finished when we loaned him out
Grasshopper
Put Steve Hollis on the bench v BHA. Bring him on for the last 30secs. Man of the last decade for me

Man of the last decade for me For facilitating a sale to an interested buyer? The props he gets for that are obscene. It makes my skin crawl. Don't get me wrong I'm sure he's a decent enough chap, but I don't give the guy at Curry's an award every time I watch a decent film on the TV he sold me. Mike, Mark, Matt, Dennis and Dean gave way more for Aston Villa Football Club than Steve Hollis, yet not many will know who they are. Man of the decade? No chance. hippo
For his goals it has to be (and probably will be) Kjodia. A shout for Nathan baker who has barely put a foot wrong all season IMO

Eastie
For me it's a 3 way fight , Chester , jedinak or kodija . All vital for differing reasons - I'd have to give it to kodija just ahead of jedinak but close.

But McCormack tore this league up for arse paper 3 years on the trot(s) before coming here, so he definitely should have continued to do so, and he cost a bloody fortune. So whereas Jack didn't meet our expectations, Ross spectacularly failed to meet his own.
bobzy
Kodjia is Player Of The Season. Second place is tougher. I'd probably give it to Adomah.

Using the FA's criteria for 'Young player' which is someone who was 23 or less at the start of the season, the list is as follows in order of appearances PLAYER Start(Sub) Tot ----------------------------------- Jordan Amavi 22(08) 30 Jack Grealish 18(07) 25 Pierluigi Gollini 20(00) 20 Andre Green 04(11) 15 Aaron Tshibola 05(03) 8 James Bree 04(01) 5 Keinan Davis 00(05) 5 Rushian Hepburn-Murphy 00(02) 2 Corey Blackett-Taylor 00(01) 1 Adama Traore 00(01)
