Popular Post AshVilla
Don't give Bruce anymore money ffs Sack the clearing in the woods and give the next manager the money. I'd rather 5 mill be wasted on us paying to get a competent manager than Jack Colcack Edited August 17, 2017 by AshVilla

Popular Post sne
Little known fact, but most successful teams play with 3 RB's and 3 sitting midfielders, having an isolated 5 ft 11 not actually target man as their only attacking outlet. They key is to take the 1 scoring chance per game and hold on for dear life. 5
rodders0223
Jack Colback. Jack **** Colback. You can almost guarantee that if Hutton and Micah Richards had spent the last few years at Sunderland, that Bruce would have brought them this summer. Do not let this buffoon sign another player. Rodders
I have no sympathy for any losses Tony incurs from here on for purchases he makes for Bruce.
AshVilla
If were looking for another midfielder Ryan Woods would be a good shout. Plus we could take their manager as well who would know how to get the best out of Hogan
Czechlad
We desperately need a back up left back. Someone to push Taylor, and provide depth.

Just a nothing footballer, horrendously one footed, cannot pass anything other than sideways, cannot tackle, no energy, no pace to get up and down, doesn't impact games, nothing dynamic about him. Just a Westwood MK II. Infact I would rather have Westwood. Sunderland fans thought he was shit, Newcastle fans think he is shit.

He'd be a decent replacement for Glenn Whelan, I'd say he's better and younger, the only problem is we've only just signed Whelan. So we would either be admitting Whelan is a waste of money already, or even worse, considering having both in the team. This is when money is tighter than it has been and a manager who cannot organise or coach the team properly at the moment. I'm with those who'd rather pay off Bruce and get someone else in with the money.

GeordieVillan
Its appeared in one local paper now, but this is the Shields Gazette, not the Newcastle Chronicle. If it appears in the Chronicle, it might have some legs. No quotes at this stage, so hopefully no substance. http://www.shieldsgazette.com/sport/football/newcastle-united/transfer-latest-aston-villa-set-to-ramp-up-interest-in-newcastle-outcast-jack-colback-1-8708609 LIAM KENNEDY Email Published: 15:58 Thursday 17 August 2017 Steve Bruce is keen to be reunited with Jack Colback this summer, as Aston Villa lead the race to sign the Newcastle United midfielder. ADVERTISING The Gazette has learned that there has been contact between the two sides, with talks initiated before the Magpies returned to pre-season training in July. Talks have been on and off since then but Villa are now primed to ramp up their bid to land the former England youth international after a difficult start to life in the Championship. Colback is heading for the St James's Park exit door having been told he is not part of Rafa Benitez's first-team plans. The player was called into Benitez's office at the club's Benton training base last week and told that he would be allowed to leave. It has also been reported that he was involved in a training ground row with the club's staff. And, as things stand, Villa are the club who head the race to sign Colback, despite interest from a host of other Championship sides. Bruce is a massive admirer of Colback's talents, having worked with him during his time at the Stadium of Light. In fact, it was Bruce who handed Colback his Premier League debut in May 2010. And with Colback on a Premier League wage, reportedly between £40,000 to £50,000 per week at United, there are few clubs in the second tier who can get close to that. Although, Villa, having nabbed the likes of former England and Chelsea skipper John Terry, do possess that kind of financial muscle. The Magpies are keen to offload a number of fringe players from their ranks, in order for Benitez to further add to his side. Colback heads that list, alongside the likes of Tim Krul, Achraf Lazaar, Massadio Haidara, Grant Hanley, Emmanuel Riviere and Henri Saivet. As reported Colback is set to miss out on a place in United's 25-man Premier League squad list. Meanwhile, reports in Italy suggest that Benitez is weighing up a loan move for former Manchester City forward Stevan Jovetic. The 27-year-old is currently on the books at Inter Milan. Delphinho123
We're crying out for attacking midfielders, not defensive ones. Regardless of whether this link is true, we're doomed under Bruce. The players haven't got a clue what to do on the pitch at the moment.
