Is there much need for one? The pick up point is not that far from Moor Street . . .

Ah ok. My train (if I don’t drive) does make a stop at Moor St. I might look into it.

Good to see this. Hopefully reduce the traffic chaos outside the ground on matchdays

I agree but if Kaine Kesler Hayden is having to thumb a lift I worry about cost cutting in other areas!

As in, that pool will be part of a service that will mean people might pay a monthly membership to use it all week.

Pool, gym, restaurants, its all dough they’re earning when footy isnt on.

We absolutely do not have the clientele for it, just saying its a good example of how london clubs benefit.

As I said, I do wonder if that'll be excluded in the near future as it's got nothing to do with football really.

New Villa Park to be built alongside an expanded Villa Park until ready, after which time old Villa Park is used for museum tours, hotel, match day fun, womens and youth games.
I'm sorry Aston Hall but you're just a posh gaff from yesteryear and you had a good run.

I was going to say "knock down whatever's in that field and build there, loads of space."

Yeah, I live in Stourbridge and this makes public transport a real option for the first time for me.

WMCA notes on Witton Station redevelopment "Other options - including a fleet of shuttle buses from Birmingham City Centre - were considered by WMRE’s study but ultimately dismissed in favour of the station upgrade." - hmmmm why is this now being trialled? 🧐

Because they're looking at any and all means that will help - that'll mean better provision for trains, for walking, for cycles, for busses, for taxis and for drivers - this isn't a problem that can be solved by making only one of the methods better. The station development is going ahead regardless, it's not linked to the club.

Hopefully this will increase the chances of the North Stand being built before the euros.

It would be some turnaround by the club to go from not doing it to re-starting in eight or nine weeks time - they'd have to start this summer to get it finished in time.

I think given the money that's getting spent on the warehouse and the existing facilities we can safely rule out a new North Stand starting before the summer of 2029.

It’s a really good idea for those that want a few drinks but I’ve already ruled the shuttle bus out  for me. By the look of it there are no concessions so it would be £10 total for me and my son (12), then return train tickets from Solihull to Brum and back. That’s about £20 total costs on top of the ticket price. Or I can just drive us there for the cost of the fuel. I do hate the drive and the traffic though.

It’s owned by the bankrupt council is it not?

Exactly. We can name our price

The hall itself can be incorporated as a Jacobean themed restaurant on the south concourse.

I know I'll get laughed out the room ( Probably rightfully so )

However, for some reason... The Scum getting a new " Super Stadium " kind of worried me further about getting " left behind ".

I had a nightmare about the parallels between Man United and Man City.

Us OBS being Man United in the example, becoming complacent, disregarding the " noisy neighbours" ( As we are way too big, established and far ahead ) so viewing them as no threat until it was too late .

Yes. The club reference Aston Park & Aston Hall in the future masterplan. I am guessing the club could buy and operate the land? Maybe build a muesum/hotel of some sort on the grounds? Part of a tour package/experience.
