TRO
4 hours ago, It's Your Round said: The amount of money we're gonna need to build a squad capable of competing is largely dependent on who we give it to. We need people on board who know the transfer business, understand player contracts and who can identify real talent. We've seen the opposite of this with Villa recently. With the wrong people in place making poor decisions, we could spend £60m and still have an ineffective squad. We can't afford to waste money on players that don't contribute or fit into the team. But with the right people in, doing shrewd business, we might not need that much. bang on the money Edited May 18, 2016 by TRO

They never actually did anything to prove them worth keeping. If we hadn't been sold surely they had ideas to turn us around but Mr. Xia will probably have his own way forward
El-Reacho
I wonder has Randy ensured that a role for Paddy Riley has been built into the deal - a bit like Doug's 'President Emeritus' covenant that he made Lerner give him....
VillaChris
Bernstein would be a very capable administrator for any new owner who hasn't been in football before, just look at his CV. It's the mistake Lerner made, Stride retired and he just relied on marketing men with little experience of football to fill the gaps. Wyness is a good start as at least he's been a CEO of a club before but if Bernstein wants to come back he's more than welcome to in my book,
