The backdrop to the next 6 weeks is.... everything going wrong

Things have started to go wrong... that's going to keep happening = small boats keep arriving and they are out of ideas.

Won't see Starmer for a while, he'll be graftng on what to do if he gets in.

This is no support for the Tories I will add. But I don't think anyone has any idea at the moment.

What else though? Sounds like they've seen a few things coming up. Maybe NHS waiting lists, or whatever else he pledged to sort out..

Migrant numbers are being announced tomorrow.

Interest rates probably won’t come down, certainly not as quickly as people want/need/expect

Economy to contract.

MP’s crossing the floor

Votes of no confidence in the PM

Small boats increasing

Flights to Rwanda not happening, courts blocking them

Water companies go bust

Local councils go bust

Potholes increasing

NHS waiting lists increasing

That bloke that took £3000 to go to Rwanda has made his way to Calais, total spend so far, £950.

I’m overseas in July. Looks like a right faff to sort out a one-off postal vote. Guess I’ll have to sort it out, don’t want to lose my chance to help oust these muppets.

Not the right thread, but why a "one-off"? They just make your life easier.

I like giving the stink-eye to the nobbers with the blue rosettes on my way out of the polling station.

Permanent popcorn these next 6 weeks

I've been really looking forward to his GE campaign, I've never seen a politician who's less "of the people", the more voters see the real him, the worse his party will do

You really think that the leader of the opposition, ahead in the polls for a good two years, hasn’t thought about what he’s going to do when his party gets elected by the predicted landslide?
