A reminder that even they don't think anyone should believe them

A federal judge on Thursday dismissed a lawsuit against Fox News after lawyers for the network argued that no "reasonable viewer" takes the primetime host Tucker Carlson seriously, a new court filing said.

US District Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil agreed with Fox's premise, adding that the network "persuasively argues" that "given Mr. Carlson's reputation, any reasonable viewer 'arrive with an appropriate amount of skepticism' about the statements he makes."

If you want a scary thought,

these are apparently the best the Tory party have to offer.

Imagine the state of the backbenches and the membership

To be honest i get the impression that the backbenches are probably better. The party seems to be so mental at the top at the moment that a sensible, competent MP probably doesn't get a look in at the highest level.

You have to be Captain Brexit or sucking Boris' nubbin to get a seat at the top table

This is it, exactly the same as what Trump did in the US. It has nothing to do with competency, ability or experience. You kiss his arse and you’ll be rewarded. Go against him and you’re out.

Everyone who does neither (usually the clever, competent ones) keeps their head down and doesn’t rock the boat either way.

Who is this **** joker?  And I don't mean Carlson.

Boris Johnson stick it to the establishment?  Well I guess he kind of did **** it for himself in the end so there is some truth in that.

This is the right winger line at the moment though isn't it, the big bad 'globalists' and the 'WEF', great reset yadda yadda.  Idiots.

Eton-educated, Bullingdon Club member Alexander De Pfeffel Johnson, started on the right track, but fell off the rails once he started rubbing shoulders with the elite. It's comedy genius.

This describes exactly what happens in 90% of big businesses

No these are just the ones not currently embroiled in a sexual/bribery/fraud/criminal scandal.

Once you take it out all the serving MP’s who are subject to ongoing investigations it really doesn’t leave many to choose from.

Just like the guy who spouted the BS, Tucker Carlsson. Ivy league educated from a rich family, once liberal, figured out there's money to be made on the brainless white masses, turned Trump-arselicker, gun touting, anti-abortion grifter. The sooner the world is free of his ilk it'll be a much better place.

One of the worst things about this leadership election is that, due to being aimed at MPs and the membership, it's truly a race to the bottom.

Mordaunt, not anti-trans is now turning into one of the most extreme anti-trans candidates to distance herself from her normal pro-trans stances.

Truss, a remainer, is turning into an extreme Brexiteer.

it's **** up.

The Tory party will literally say anything to stay in power. They have no principles, no beliefs and no actual politics. They are corrupt to their very core and they should never be anywhere near any form of power.

Johnson may have inadvertently let slip that the leader could be selected next week without it going to the members  and today being his last PMQ's. Or it could be a load of nonsense.

He has mentally checked out and I am sure is planning lots of money making opportunities. Unfortunately we haven't seen the last of him.

I didn’t see it but saw the headline that he said he would “leave with his head held high” :crylaugh:

The gas lighting of his disastrous tenure has started then.

Sacked. Sacked by your own party as a criminal after 1 too many scandals.
