i know we won yesterday and a very welcome 3 points to start the season but i think there will be more disappointing moments than high ones.

15th for me, just hope we hit the 40 point mark as early as possible.

I suppose I'll put the Monte Carlo runs in this thread. This early in the season, the picture is dominated by the last dozen or so games in all competitions last season, so Leicester look exceptionally strong and Liverpool look rather poor. It's perhaps more good for a laugh than anything else...

I'm hoping for a finish somewhere between 12th and 16th.

I think we'll score in excess of 40 goals. Maybe 46.

Player of the year will be Jordan Amavi.

Top scorer will be Rudy Gestede with 16 goals.

Most assists will be Gil with 8.

Gut feeling (with my pessimistic mindset as usual);

Finish 16th

Scoring less than 38 goals

Finishing with minus goal difference

No player scoring over ten goals

Expenditure after sales being less than £10m

Player of the year (both categories); Amavi

First player sold next season; Amavi

Carling Cup Quarter-finalists

FA Cup Fourth Round

Significant injury to key player around Christmas

Here's a hopeful prediction:

http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/west-bromwich-albion-go-down-9896863

Punters in Britain reckon Albion are heading into the Championship this season while rivals Villa could mount an assault on the European spots.

With over 200,000 entries so far into William Hill’s £50 Million Prem Predictor, the findings suggest that football fans fear for the Baggies.

In the league table below, they have been predicted to finish 18th in the Premier League with just over 25,000 people forecasting they finish in that spot.

Villa on the other hand are predicted to be knocking on the door of Europe with 21,000 people expecting them to finish ninth.
