This is the club acting badly. True mate but there are fans here having a go at the player for doing the same as benteke double standards me thinks by some fans. If this was villa who moved the goalposts imagine the shit they'd get and not the player! But we do transfers the right way where we have been respectful. Lorient are the ones in the wrong. Once a fee Is agreed and permission given then that's it. Sure there'll be a response still blaming the player. Lorient won't want to walk away from the deal after the comments made by Ayew, they're just looking for a bit more out of us after the Benteke sale. I still think this will happen, it is not really in their interest to hold on to a disgruntled player and we are offering a very good price. I just think we are seeing some brinkmanship at the moment, but still expect it to get done. That said, I hope Villa have a plan B just in case. I believe player is in the right and the Lorient is in the wrong. A fee was agreed, the player traveled and Lorient decided to stick two fingers up at us and jack up the price. Bad business.
