Mario Jardel.

Scored a billion goals for Porto and then turned up at Bolton 20 stone overweight. He was one big name Big Sam couldn't get going.

Wonder what state he's in now....

Just checked what he is up to and he is looking smart to be fair.

Unfortunately the caption below reads "Mário Jardel acusado de vários crimes no Brasil"

Money laundering, false documents and criminal association seem to be the charges.

Looking good...

Haven't heard Subotic's name in a while. 3-4 years ago he was one of the most sought after CBs in Europe, is he still even at Dortmund as he had some injury issues.

Played 463 minutes of league football for Dortmund since the end of the 14/15 season. Mostly injuries. Currently injured.

Dublin...more limited than the others but was still a very good finisher especially in the air.

Did he go to France 98?

Dublin was in the original 25/30? man squad for the friendlies leading up to the tournament but didn't make the final cut which got the squad down to 22. It's most famous because Gascoigne was cut at the same time and never played for England again. He smashed up his hotel room and absolutely lost it. No-one in the squad or staff could console him.

There is an interview Gazza did with Frank Skinner on the Youtube. Must have been filmed around 2001 I imagine as he was at Everton.
When being cut from the 98 squad was brought he still had to fight back tears.
