useless Posted April 7, 2015 Share Posted April 7, 2015 I wonder if it's an ego thing, where Sherwood says look at me I can save a team from relegation whilst leaving out one of their best players. If that was remotely true he'd leave out one of the obvious top players like benteke and delph. But its not. It's rubbish. Gil was flavour of the moment when Sherwood joined, To leave out someone like Benteke would just be suicidal. At first I thought he was just leaving out Gil because he didn't think he was the right player for a relegation battle, but when he doesn't bring him on when we're four up against Sunderland and now leaves him out altogether It makes me wonder that it's something more. Doubt he will play for us again. Not sure what it is with Villa and flair players recently but we always seem to hire managers that either don't sign then or alienate the ones we do have. Exactly at last we actually have every player playing in a position that's natural to them (maybe not Bacuna), any chance to have a pop at anything though, come on lads lets do it. I am feeling strangely calm and confident about tonight, like i did when we played Palace away. I also felt like this when we played Hull away so what do i know? Fact is if we can't beat a rubbish QPR side at home, or at least get a point, we don't deserve to stay up. This team is more than good enough to do the job tonight. Be positive.
