R.Bear
Zog will be the difference today. He's going to have a blinder
Condimentalist
Last chance saloon for N'Zogbia. I hope he's been told that though i doubt it. He's not been so terrible this season but he's by far the most ineffectual of our front 3 and I did think Weimann would start ahead of him, but there we are.
KSV
i guess hes been good at training and PL is trying to give him some confidence as he seems to big him up in interviews as well.
Jareth
I like Nzogbia, when he's up for it, but it is all too rare - he doesn't offer more than Grealish so it must be a case of trying to move him on in the knowledge that Grealish is tied down - especially given his wages. AValon
I hope this is Zog's yearly blinder, thats all I can say.. Would like us to do these 'pretenders' over.
Keyblade
He's showing faith in him which I admire, because he realizes he's a player who loses confidence easily. It's no good dropping him in and out of games. Giving him a sustained run of games also gives him nothing to whine about later on if he does indeed get dropped. Good bit of management there imo. Also remember a couple of years back the front three of Gabby, Benteke and N'Zogbia absolutely tearing them apart. Let's hope we see a repeat. Jareth
Whatever it is, I can't think of a player I've wanted to be subbed more often than Charles.
PaulC
Must admit I was expecting Weimann to start not Nzog.

KSV
a win takes us above Liverpool and Tottenham.. even though its temporarily and early days. They have spent a crap load and 3 wins in a row will be nice and positive for a change. May even make Delph think twice about where he is going next. 8 point gap on WBA as well if we win. Come on Villa!!
DiegoD
Bizarre that Nzog is starting as he's been awful in recent games.
smetrov
CB still a worry for me - think we have got lucky in our last of games which is clouding peoples judgement - Leicester and palace sliced through our defence time after time - poor finishing kept the score in our favour... Biskitt
Bench is looking really strong. When you add Senderos, Baker, Cole, Bacuna, Kozak and Westwood to that, we've certainly got quite a few options now when everyone is fit ( a big if I know! )
Jareth
I'm confident - Benteke is overdue, he'll just pop if he doesn't score today.

Grasshopper
Guzan, Hutton, Okore, Clark, Cissokho, Cleverley, Sanchez, Richardson, N'Zogbia, Agbonlahor, Benteke. Good Balance in Defence & Midfield Gabby will have to run his B******s off CNZ will have a bit of space in our "Counter-Attacking-Style" (would rather have seen Andy or Bacuna) lets see if he can deliver (not much faith though) Hoping but not confident
packoman
I'm happy Zog starts, i like him. Benteke seem to enjoy playing with him as well What do like about him? He offers nothing and loses the ball every time he gets it. Saying that I still hope he plays great and helps us win.
