mjmooney Posted December 13, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted December 13, 2014 A win here would put is safe and clear. They're shit as well. Hopefully we can be 2-0 up with 10 to play so we relax for once. If we're 2-0 up with 10 to play and we relax, we'll let three goals in!
Popular Post rjw63
Could do with a win, it's been a real shitty week (illnesses and family bereavement) so no doubt Villa will **** it up!
ismail-villa
Even if we're winning 2-0 with 5 minutes left I will still be nervous as it's Villa we're talking about here.
theboyangel
West Brom - and former Aston Villa - midfielder Craig Gardner insists Villa can no longer count themselves a bigger club than the Baggies. Gardner rose through the ranks at Aston Villa but is now a regular first-team starter at West Brom, while he is also a Birmingham City supporter. The 28-year-old can perhaps be argued to have a rather objective view of the Midlands, then, and he insists West Brom are just as used to the big time nowadays as former club Villa. Indeed, Gardner is quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror: "I don’t think they [Villa] are one of the main clubs in the Midlands. What’s wrong with West Brom? We have been in the Premier League five, six years on the bounce. “Does having a bigger stadium and winning a couple of things make you a bigger club? “I’ve played for Villa. I’m not having a dig at them. I speak from the heart. I have never had a bad word to say about Villa and I never will as I learnt my trade there. “I am a Blues fan, that is no secret but now I am at West Brom. You can say Villa are the bigger club but it is West Brom that are used to being up there more recently.” Pin that on the dressing room wall and show him who's wrong!
Raymond
There is zero chance we win three in a row. This is Villa.

packoman
Is Cleverly fit? Sky sports say he's out.
villanwesty88
If Cleverly is unavailable we'll either have to go with an 80% ready Delph, Chris Herd who hasn't played in ages or go with two in the middle (Sanchez and Richardson). Then play with N'Zogbia or Grealish. Would be very attacking if the latter but the midfield battle would be tricky.
theboyangel
If Cleverley is missing we'd play two midfielders (my guess Sanchez and Richardson) behind Gabby, Weimann and N'Zogbia with Benteke up top.
