We still have it in our own hands. We will stay up, if Lambert was still here now we would have been virtually relegated already.

Not aimed at you in particular - but why can you take any comfort from that ? - I'm not saying you're wrong - but he's been gone almost 3 months and relegation is still a distinct possibility

Im just saying that under Sherwood we are still more than likely to stay up and comparing the difference between the 2 different managers.

Our last 3 games we have:

Beat Spurs away

Beat the scousers at Wembley

Very unfortunate to lose to the champions on their own patch, we would have won if it were not for a disgraceful decision by the officials.

Also, Newcastle could well be dragged into this yet, they are **** awful.

Ah right - we were unfortunate against Man City ? - why on earth didn't some one tell me ......

Lets just hope were not unfortunate against Everton,  coming to think of it we were unfortunate against Stoke\Swansea\Newcastle - somebody call the FA and get them to shift us the table a bit - be unfortunate if we got relegated...

If we slip into the relegation zone, we could win every game till the end of the season and still be relegated, I think some fans still don't realise this!

It is impossible for us to go down if we win every game. Leicester and Sunderland still have to play each other and that means both can't get to 44 points.

Ahhh, Cheers didn't see that.

What Leicester do is irrelevant really, they have Newcastle next, that's 3 points which means they are probably safe.

We need to take care of our own business.

Not irrelevant I think. We have pretty good chances to finish above them and nice to have another team in the mix, just in case Sunderland puts together crazy run.

What's with no 28 in Chelsea having the name of what I assume is a exotic STD printed on the back of his shirt. I'm pretty sure you can contract it in South America.

Can't help but feel you're simply on the wind up.

Surely it's not hard to see that the better the performance the better the likelihood of collecting points? Obviously luck plays a part, which has gone against us in a few occasions but there is next to no chance that if we keep playing how we have, continually being the better team, we'll fail to pick up points.

Not so sure. If we keep Leicester under us it makes it easier for us to drag in Newcastle or keep Leicester under us.

Watch agent Cahill score now......

But thats my whole point - shipping goals negates the good performance.

Newcastle would basically have to lose every remaining game to have any chance of dropping and the law of averages says they won't lose 11 in a row. Such a shame that we lost that game at St. James' Park really.

Thing is for newcastle (35 points) is that if leicester beat them on Sat, and west brom (37 points) lose to man u then next game is newcastle vs west brom - could see west brom going for it in that game for sure. Then its just 2 games for newcastle to play - it's possible they could go down if Sunderland were to get two wins.
