roonst83 Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Pressure is off, so may play with more freedom, thus resulting in only a 4-0 loss 1
Max the Silent Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Great opportunity to win a trophy this season - the Premier League one for Liverpool
benireduk Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Now were safe, wouldn't be too bothered if we lose this one. I know we never want to see us lose, but anything to stop Liverpool wining the League. Just couldn't stand the bin-dippers going on and on
NoelVilla Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Im not watching Villa again until we have filthy rich owners 1
darrenm Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 I really hope we can just go out and play with a bit of freedom. If not now then when? Not going down, not a lot left to play for, as a player you should love just being able to try things without fear. Same team as today with Bowery the obvious change in. Then just express yourself. Give it a good go.
Danwichmann Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 We tend to be awful when the pressure is completely off, so not expecting much from this one.
chappy Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 J-Bowz hat trick in an unsuccessful solo attempt to hand Liverpool the title. 4-3 City. 3
villa-revolution Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 (edited) As long as a Concrete Ron clearance or a Tonev shot blasts straight into the Gallagher brother's balls I'll be happy. ps - Memo to Noel & Liam - Don't look back in anger. Edited May 4, 2014 by villa-revolution
P3te Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 We're going to take something from the game on Wednesday, I absolutely know it, purely because aside from Villa staying up, there's nothing I want more this season than for Liverpool NOT to win the league. Since we've stayed up, there's no chance I'm going to get both things happen. We'll likely sneak a draw and hand the title to the scousers to completely ruin the final week for me
AndyM3000 Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Sorry but we are safe and I do not want Liverpool to win the league so I have to hope we lose, probably like most Everton fans today wanted their own team to lose. 1
Ghost Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 I hope Robinson gets given a start. I have nothing to base this on, but he seems like an exciting player and there won't be any pressure on him so he can express himself. Will Grealish be back from Notts County?
8pints Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Steer Lowton Vlaar Donacien Bertrand Bacuna Delph Westwood Robinson Weimann Bowery And bring Albrighton and Daniel Johnson off the bench to give them a good chunk of the game.
ismail-villa Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Has grealish's loan ended? Might be worth a shot giving him a few minutes. Bowery should start imo, played well yesterday.
PaulC Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Go with the same team as yesterday. We'll probably loose but Sunderland got a point there and should have won so you never know.
Phumfeinz Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Bowery has to start, though obviously Man City will be a much tougher opponent than Hull and I don't want people calling him shit again if he struggles.
villa_shere Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 I dislike Liverpool as much as the next man but I'd love to see us beat Citeh at the etihad and shut up their smug spoilt fans. 3
PaulC Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Bowery has to start, though obviously Man City will be a much tougher opponent than Hull and I don't want people calling him shit again if he struggles. Its going to happen. Football fans are like that!
Jimzk5 Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 If bowery can keep his form from the hull game, it will just be a question of how many we will win by in going 4-1 win. 1
