ismail-villa
Let's get that win and do the double over em. But if we lose I won't be too upset, I'll just laugh at my Liverpool supporting family. Bowery to get the winner!
Davkaus
Isn't it almost an additional £1m in prize money per place in the league table? Another 3 points please.
VT Supporter chappy Posted May 4, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted May 4, 2014 I would hate Liverpool to win the title, living here would become unbearable. However, I can't bring myself to want us to lose so in becoming a crystal palace fan for the next 24 hours.
Popular Post Kwan
I don't have anything against Liverpool so I'd like us to win. Preferably, we would defend for 92 minutes. City would have something like 81% possession. We've barely had a touch of the ball and there's been multiple goal line clearances and last ditch tackles. Milner, in particular, has been on fire and putting in ball after ball as well as some timely shots. Guzan has made at least 3 or 4 miracle saves as well as punching Dzeko in the head as he comes out for a cross. Baker has fouled Toure within the box, but Guzan saved the penalty and the rebound. Delph has a yellow card. With 3 minutes of extra time, City are getting desperate. They need the 3 points. A draw will not do. They send almost everyone forward on a corner. Guzan punches it out for the 15th time and it lands at Albrighton's feet. Break is on. Marc's already fallen over out of exhaustion earlier in the game so he's on his last legs. He somehow summons the energy to motor down the pitch. Demichelis is the only one back and it's a 2 on 1 situation. All the Villa fans are on their feet, hearts in mouths. Is this actually going to happen? Right at the edge of the City box, Albrighton looks up. Demichelis commits. Everyone thinks he's going to shoot. Albrighton coolly squares it to the other Villa player. The Villa fans start to scream as they realize it's actually happening. The rest of the Ethiad is silent as stone. The ball slides across the box and Hart helplessly rushes out to try and get it, but the Villa player is obviously favored to it. Who is it? J Bowz meets the ball and everyone thinks he's overrun it but he knows what he's doing. It's a repeat of his goal against Hull, but this time, it's at the right end. J Bowz takes the slightest of touches with the back of his right heel. Hart has already dove the other way and watches in agony as the ball trickles towards his goal. It bounces against the post and you can hear it on the camera as the crowd's fallen silent. It crosses the line. Marc has fallen over, cramps in both of his legs. Everyone else is behind the halfway line, not believing what's just transpired. J Bowz doesn't care. He wheels off towards the Villa away corner, imitating his famous wheelchair gif as he meets the jubilant fans. The rest of the Ethiad is silent, their championship dreams extinguished at the foot of Bowery's first Premier League goal. ** More likely, we'll get trounced 4-0, but wouldn't that be great?

supernova26
I bet RAWK are going mad reading this thread !! Would love to do a job on City but not too fussed if we don't...Liverpool fans do my nut in as well, in fact they've done my nut in all season and now I've got them texting saying how they are all Villa fans on Wednesday night. Oh purleeease ! Edited May 4, 2014 by supernova26
LondonLax
Shameful for people to want their own team to lose. I bet those people will be changing their tune when the players are actually out on the pitch on Wednesday, no true fan could actually cheer a goal going in the Villa end. Liverpool will probably struggle away at Palace anyway so it won't be an issue.
Avflife
Nothing to play for expect for prize money, but I would still like to see the fans who have paid £47 for tickets (not including myself) to get a decent and passionate performance. Remember going to the 3-0 League Cup defeat about three seasons when Michael Bradley and Jean Makoun started in central midfield. Guzan, Lowton, Vlaar, Clark, Bertrand, Westwood, Delph, Bacuna, Robinson, Weimann and Bowery, 4-1-2-1-2. Edited May 7, 2014 by Avflife

useless
I think we'll get a 2-2 draw. We've got the most points (10) from top four sides, so it really could happen. For people upset that Liverpool might win the league, you never know maybe Palace or whoever they play on the last day might stop them. And maybe one day we'll need Liverpool to do us a favour. DamsonwoodVillan
Guzan Lowton Vlaar Baker Clark Albrighton Westwood Delph Bertrand Weimann Bowery If we win or draw it's for one of my heroes Stevie G. If we lose it's for one of my other heroes Yaya Toure.
Big_John_10
For the first time in awhile its going to be nice to just watch the game and not really get worked up. We're safe and I'm very confident both Lerner and Lambert will be leaving so if we win, great! And if we lose its not a big deal.
Cliffy Biro
If Liverpool win the title it wont be because of us and 1 game, i want Villa to win whatever happens. It could obviously go either way, were mathematically safe so were either going to go for it and play with the shackles off or nobody cares because it doesnt men a lot too us now. Either way were all relieved we dont have to go there and get something.
Tayls
Sod this! I don't care what happens at the top of league because we are not involved. As far as I am concerned 11th place is still up for grabs and I want us to finish as high up as possible! We have some attraction to do during the summer don't forget, and 11th is better than 16th or 17th!
Zatman
I dislike Liverpool as much as the next man but I'd love to see us beat Citeh at the etihad and shut up their smug spoilt fans. Yeah but at the cost of having to put up with smug Liverpool fans for a YEAR after they win the league? Not worth it. be more than a year. **** still go on about Istanbul after that Suarez dive at Klanfield and all the praise he got from media, ill happily take a dive here

roonst83
Weimann simply must be played down the centre...Saturday showed how decent he is there, his movement, his vigour and his enthusiasm (that we were used to seeing last year) all came back on Saturday. That said, Kompany could probably have him for breakfast...

Dodgyknees
I hate Liverpool as much as the next person, but I never want us to lose. I'm a bad loser. It might have been noticed. So... Villa to win. Man City 2-3 Villa
