He said that they are overseeing the sale, which doesn't tell us at what point of the sales process we are at. For example, not saying that they are because I don't know, but if rich products were on the stock exchange and bob rich was serious about buying us, would he have to declare it even though randy might be trying to do a deal quietly? Dubai is a small place when it wants to be and my industry (financial services) is laced with big mouths and big egos, yet our sale wasn't known at all. Now I'm not saying it was anywhere near on the same scale, but the fact was only a few key personnel knew the truth and the news wasn't common knowledge to the staff. I doubt very little info will leak due to the huge sums of money involved. Anyone knowing specific information that then subsequently leaks it, is putting themselves in the firing line as I imagine they're part of a small pool. Add into that Hull and West Brom finishing below us and there will be one surprise team that collapses. I reckon we can let a few go, bring in a couple of proven experience types like getting Harewood back and we can still sit out this season treading water. Isa Posted May 19, 2014 Share Posted May 19, 2014 I know it was already mentioned that Lerner's mother is a director on the board of trustees of the Cleveland Clinic that Rich chairs but I thought I'd add that Al Lerner used to be the President of it also.
