BleedClaretAndBlue
We just have to hope Soton are already on the beach but even when a team is in 2nd gear they will still normally have enough to win at VP. 0-2 Soton
leevilla
Would happily settle for a point even after today's events. Please villa!!!!!
darrenm
Gabby hasn't been great this season but is still one of the best chances we have of getting a goal at the moment.
becks1876
Best case is that what has happened has cleared the air and Villa show a bit of fight (but not red cards) on Saturday. It is our biggest game of the season and Lambert just cannot afford to lose this one. A battling draw is a minimum requirement, with a win at Swansea. I know, I am dreaming for that to happen. 2-0 Saints and cue mass mutiny in the stands, if people can be bothered anymore to protest. agree with the 2-0 to Saints score line maybe grab a draw at swansea and then get thrashed by the Tigers but i'm 100% sure we can get 6 points from the last two games; who the hell are city and spuds anyway. villa89
After all that's happened this week I think we'll win this. 2-1 Villa.
AValon
If we don't see a marked change of attitude against Soton, it will show just how much damage has been done by Culverhouse. The result is truly up in the air, but there needs to be signs of a fighting response to all this shit.
shaggy
I wonder will a change of coaching staff coincide with a change in system? Then again we still have the same manager so maybe it will be a pointer to who actually makes the decisions on the team?
VT Supporter flashingqwerty Posted April 16, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted April 16, 2014 The manager is responsible for the staff he brought in to the club so if these two are accountable for our bad/inconsistent form then Lambert should be following them out the door. Zhan_Zhuang
After removing the bad eggs, hopefully we will see Villa return with greater confidence and a motivation to win. 3-1 to our beloved Villa
villan_007
Will be very interesting to see what the starting line up is for this. With one of the rumours being Sid and IC arguing over not giving the youth a chance I wonder if we'll see Robinson unleashed for a full debut.
dakid007
Gabby hasn't been great this season but is still one of the best chances we have of getting a goal at the moment. I don't agree with this, would rather see one of the youngsters get some game time
VT Supporter PieFacE Posted April 16, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted April 16, 2014 3-0 loss. Southampton to score in the first 10 minutes. Crowd start booing. Anti-Lambert chants start Players pretty much give up. That's how I see this one going.
VillanousOne
we are gonna be so fragile that i could imagine we might come out fighting but then make a stupid defensive mistake and concede or even just suffer some good old fashioned bad luck and then crumble to dust. VT Supporter chappy Posted April 16, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted April 16, 2014 At least Rodriguez is out so won't be leading from the front with key tackles
theboyangel
At least Rodriguez is out so won't be leading from the front with key tackles or diving in the box to win a cheap penalty
Chap of Steel
Call me negative but I've got a horrible feeling we'll lose this and any minor traces of positivity from the recent news will be all but forgotten. However, we gave them a good game last season at home and probably should have at least got a point, so who knows.
maqroll
Let's hope the players respond well to the sanctions on the coaches. Newly found inspiration is our only hope to get anything from this match, Soton are a much better side.

VT Supporter AVTuco Posted April 16, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted April 16, 2014 I don't expect any changes in the way we play really. Our guys will be pumped up though, so hopefully it's a good game. Tough one, but let's try to stay positive. I think it's a draw, 1-1.
