Those cuffs on the home kit are bizarre. Someone just trying to be different for the sake of it. Didn't think the shirt sleeve sponsor would be on the replica's, it looks stupid to have a sponsor on just one side of the kit so you probably have to get a premier league patch as well for even more money.

I wouldn't be bothered about another CB, we already have 4: Mings, Hause, Chester and Konsa I don't see the need for another one. However I do agree we need 5 more players. We need a two central midfielders rather than just the one you have above. Apart from Hourihane there isn't really any decent cover in the middle of the park. Thor and Henry aren't going to cut it and Tshibola won't be here come September I bet. We probably need two DCM's and then use Hourihane and Lansbury as cover for McGinn/Jack

Good news. Cant say I know anything about him but he fits the profile of the type of player we should be signing. Good times for villa ahead and now plenty of competition at the back.

If it means we can spend money on other players then signing heaton for ~ one third of what it would cost to sign Butland is a no brainer. Heaton could be our keeper for ~3 seasons and that would give us plenty of time to grow into a midtable premier league team. Then we would have the funds to buy a new/better keeper.

I wouldn't have minded signing Jansson for £5.5m. He would have been a good squad player and cheap enough.

Bernal is the big favourite this year. He looks the strongest and was born at altitude. Quintana is too old (forget his stated age, it's a joke) and once paced to win it IMO. Michael Woods is my outsider for a podium.

I'm not sure that's true. They have already failed FFP once so I assume they need the money just to balance the books. Nothing like Harry Redknapp to bankrupt a club.

I would be happy with Heaton. He's not a long term option but would tide us over for a couple of seasons.
