  1. I am surprised he is still there, thought someone who have bought him by now.
  2. I assume he's is thinking he didn't come here to sit on the bench and is now agitating for a move. We probably won't sell him unless we can sign a new keeper first.
  3. They look okay to me. Nothing special and as usual a lot of the fan made kits on here look better. One thing to point out is that yet again the home shirt is purple and blue and not claret.
  4. none more so than Ayoze Perez moving for £30m . One goal every 298 minutes in the premier league...what a player.
  5. I doubt that our Egyptian owner has any input into who we sign.
  6. This. We're stuck with him so might as well keep him as the second choice LB. He can play in the cup games.
  7. I'd prefer a fantastic August, (points and players...)
  8. The issue of losing a home game isn't really that important when it's 3 out of 162. Also it has to be a game that matters, nobody cares about pre-season. The stadium occupancy rates at typical MLB regular season games (for most teams) means that the fans can still attend games easily any time they want, there are no sell outs every week (for most teams). The issue for me is that there are no purpose built stadiums for baseball in europe which really affects both the game and the fan experience. Also baseball is a niche sport, whereas NFL is hugely popular. I can't ever see baseball becoming anything more than that in Europe. Baseball is an acquired taste, and let's call a spade a spade, for most people it's an extremely boring, long winded sport.
  9. It seems to be a bit odd that we let deal run that late into the summer. We should be signing contracts that terminate at the end of May not the end of June.

    Arsenal

Palace just sold wan bissaka for £50m and arsenal think zaha is worth 40?
  11. Bizarrely I managed to get 5 tickets for me and four mates to the bears game. Got very lucky.
  12. Did they think they could get KD and Kyrie? It's going to be a serious face plant if the nets live up to expectations and the Knicks lose 82 games by more than 20 points
  13. Wednesday. Along with the 7 new signings (and rising...)
  14. We could repeat the same cushy number we gave Robert Pires, a free driver to chauffeur him up and down every day.
  15. I would say that that position you are describing is exactly Jack's best position.
  16. Looks okay to me but the issue would be the subs bench. We need a full squad to stay up and as it stands we don't even have a first eleven.
  17. It was reported from a few sources during most of his managerial career. He left the coaching/training to his assistants john Robertson and the other guy. The training sessions themselves were meant to be very basic at best. MON followed the clough approach of only really talking to the players on matchdays as he felt it meant more then, rather than speaking to them daily. Dinosaur.
  18. Wouldn't be surprised if Celtic signed him to replace Tierney.
  19. His management style was always to just turn up on Saturdays. Wasnt interested in being on the training ground.
  20. They still need to meet the regulations, which if reports are to be believed they will really struggle to do. Hopefully they get relegated this season and then get a new points deduction in League 1.
  21. Exactly this, both still think football is the same as it was when they played.
  22. Sounds expensive...but hopefully worth it.
