  1. No fear of that happening. Fair play to the lad terminating his contract so he can go and play somewhere. 10/10 for attitude but he just wasnt good enough. I hope he has a nice end to his career at a lower level.

    Living wage

It's a tricky one. Firstly it's not up to individual businesses to make sure that their employees earn enough, it's up to the government to ensure that people have enough income to sustain a reasonable life. Also I would assume that a football club would have a lot of part time staff who may only work on matchdays. A student or retiree or normal joe down the road might like getting his few pound for working a few hours on matchday eventhough he is technically on minimum wage. It's not as simple as just pay the living wage and we're great. It's more an issue for government than for industry IMO, however everyone knows the government won't sort things like economic traps out ever.

    Keinan Davis

I can see him being our seco d choice striker if wesley is injured which is less than ideal. We are really going to have to rely on goals from midfield this season I fear.
  4. Too lazy, selfish and inconsistent to do much at this level. Also since his injury I'm sure whatever pace he had is gone so that's another negative. Not good that he's our backup striker.

    Arsenal

Insanity. Take the £30m and use it to buy Zaha for £80m. Get Two birds stoned at once.
  6. I no longer think we'll get him. We might come back for him in January.
  7. Dean's Deadline Day Double Deal for Duo Done!* *Hopefully
  8. I think this will get done today and be a our last signing of the summer
  9. It's like a new signing, or at least it would be if we hadn't signed 41 players already this summer.
  10. Rojo is also rumoured to be on £160K a week. He'd be as bad a signing as Bolaise last season.
  11. I can't see him making any real contribution there or getting many games. The only hope is that they get injuries and they have to play him every week. He *might* get a few goals then and people *might* think he's not totally useless.
  12. The comments were that he was better than Jota and that they would be gutted to lose him, that's always a good sign.
  13. Heaton, a good bet for our player of the season if odds were available.
  14. Heaton, Grealish and Wesley. I think Wesley will be a good buy because if he's git he's going to play every game.
  15. I assume the loan won't be sanctioned until we bring in another striker. Which is fair enough.
  16. We won't be seeing him play for a few weeks IMO.
  17. I prefer journalists who tell you the truth from the sources they have rather than the plethora of those that speculate and make up rumours.
  18. A loan is the best we'll get, nobody will risk signing him permanently.
  19. Why is his beard and part of his hair drawn on with magic marker?
  20. I really hate it when people in any country refer to the constitution like it is some holy document written by clairvoyants. Every country should be re-writing their constitutions every ~30 years to keep up with the changes in society. Legislation is always miles behind where it needs to be.
  21. Unless something unexpected comes up in one of the 17 medicals we do for each new signing I can't imagine it. We knew he was injured before we even put in a bid and presumably the deal would be structured in a way that we would be covered if he didn't recover.
  22. City's youth system is meant to be the best in the country. Ex irish international and one time Blackburn manager Lee Carsley running it as far as I remember. EDIT: he's with england now and no longer with City.
