It's nice for the Raptors but let's face it the only reason they won was the injuries. The history books wont remember that of course. KD and Thompson free agents but out for most of next season will make things interesting. Kawhi will go to the lakers.

He'll be a terrible signing for whoever ends up with him. He's won everything he wanted to win, he's on huge wages, his injury record is shocking and he was never as good a player as the price tag suggested.

We need a DM that can replace Whelan/Hourihane in the starting lineup and probably another midfielder too. I don't know much about this lad but he won't be the last player we are linked with this summer.

That's the going rate for a £15m player. He would be on half what most of his team mates are on (or less).

2 + 2 = 5 there I'm afraid. Footballers don't tend to take pay cuts so we'll have to subsidise his wages. Also I wouldn't fancy sending him out on loan as he's so bad it might lower his value further.

If you look at the squad we had last season when we finished 5th in the Championship, we've lost Mings, Abraham and let go of 8 players. If we don't spend ~£100m we've no hope. I don't think it's feasible to try to sign 8 players for ~£8m each on average and hope to compete. If we were in the champiomship with the squad we have now we'd finish around 10th - 12th. That's the stark reality.

Hopefully he won't be starting many games. He was horrendous for Ireland last night against Gibraltar. Made one decent pass in the whole game and even his set piece delivery was generally poor.

He played for 65 minutes and was abysmal. League 1 footballer at best.
