Annoyingly there was a Kouyate tackle on Watkins near the start of the game where Watkins toed it past him down the line and went down after he got flicked by a dangling boot. This week, it was a free kick to us without a question from any player or commentator. Last week it wasn't a penalty and a yellow for simulation with pundits all agreed it needs to be stamped out of the game. So which is it?

As people have said, Burnely all over again. First twenty minutes was really good. Almost like we played at the start of the season with loads of intent. Straight after scoring we didn't complete a pass for the rest of the half. Missed the second half. Good job.

Quick flick through wingers signed in the PL last summer Willian, Zyech, Lookman, Costa, Harrison, Raphina, Jota, Fraser, Burke, Bale, Dianganna, Robinson Benrahma. I think our signing of Troare stands up well for price and contribution very well when compared to those. However, he's a bit too slight to be a constant threat. He'll beat every player he comes up against once or twice a game, but for the rest of it will be easy to defend against. I love him. He'd be great to watch in the flesh, but I think he needs to make full backs work harder to win the overall battle against him.

There may be something in given some game time out to Chuk and Barry whilst no fans are around to take some pressure off. We've been familiarising the youth with the match day experiences so this would be a good step to follow that with before crowds come back and grounds get more intimidating.

Get him back. He'll feel shat on by Tuchel and his price should be lower and lower each match he is fobbed off for. I don't think we'd play two upfront but if we had Tammy in the squad we'd be in a much better place. Nab him once a quality ACM and winger are in so the priorities are sorted.

I didn't suggest they would fall away next season. They'll be strong again no doubt. But there is definitely a similarity in the fact they're were both recently promoted clubs, using a well embedded style of play to be successful in their first season back in the premier league. We didnt have that when we came up.

Agreed but not totally unpredicted. Similarly to Sheff U last year, I think there's a lot to be said about having a well-drilled system that has been practised with the same players over a few years before coming up. We had to restart when we were first promoted and have done really well considering the new signings that came in this year too. Right, off to throw up.

AC Milan have our problem. Their colours are so traditional that there's not too much that can be done for a new design. The cut/pattern down the sides reminds me very much of this Nike design.

Just a great player. Rarely gets beaten on the floor, decent in the air, has great passing ability, and can deliver dangerous balls into the box. I can't really see a weakness to his game...which is a massive turnaround from the wetter that player for large periods last year. Astonishing really - fair play!

He was good today - look at his work for the build up to Traore's goal. He offers more than enough to be in our team and we've looked a lot better since the others in CM have picked up a bit over the last couple of games. He's just made an absolutely stupid decision and is now getting hammered as 'not good enough'. He's fine.

The commentator and Jermaine Jenas on MOTD. What a pair of b'lends. Commentator just brushes aside the Greenwood handball as 'common sense' from the ref and says Watkins will 'hopefully learn from this' Jenas goes in on Watkins and says he's glad he got a red as that needs to be clamped down on.

Very good game overall, got turned by a good piece of skill, further punished by a good strike.

Should it have been reviewed for a possible pen, if not the yellow? Did that happen?

This is arguably exactly what a ref should be doing. Using experience of prior events to inform decisions so his thinking 'in the moment' isn't being overloaded. If anything, 3000 mins isn't enough.
