MaVilla
hmm, their team will consist of Targett, Burn, Tripper, Willock, Guimaraes, Wood, ASM, Almiron, Wilson (when fit) etc, all ranging from ok-ish prem level, to good prem level. Honestly, if they dont stay up, its pure incompetence by the people managing the club. That squad is much, much better than say Burnley, Norwich & Watford. 1

Hank Scorpio
They are making clever signings..when they stay up we sadly won't be able to compete with them financially. It's the start of another man city isn't it
Genie
I’m surprised their signings are getting the VT seal of approval already. Time will tell, although I’m not overly impressed tbh.

Defensively, they now have to integrate three new players. It’s a lot of variables - Premier League experience or not - there’s a reason why they’ve been down there for so long. Obviously doesn’t guarantee safety, but gives them a much better chance.

gwi1890
NEWCASTLE UNITED’S JANUARY: Matt Targett Dan Burn Kieran Trippier Bruno Guimaraes Chris Wood Near £90m spent when we did this in our first season back we were doing a Fulham. The 5 signings definitely improve them but not world beaters,?Guimaraes will need time to settle.

Wainy316
Really bugs me the way a club just spunking money left, right and centre is described as a 'project'.
