Villarocker
This really is the biggest team of thick c**ts I have EVER seen in a Villa shirt. Lihaj is a disgrace to the shirt and the very worst player I ever saw - and I've seen Bosco Balaban.... You may have seen Balaban but you've clearly not seen Warnock, Hutton, Bennett or Bannan! OutByEaster? Posted January 25, 2013 Moderator Share Posted January 25, 2013 Delph off for Bannan - if we lose Bannan or Westwood now, then we'll be playing 5-1-4 for the rest of the season. We absolutely desperately need a defensive midfielder.

NurembergVillan Posted January 25, 2013 Moderator Share Posted January 25, 2013 A goal conceded from a corner in each of our last 8 games. Pathetic. Including Southampton where we lost 1-0 to a Rickie Lambert penalty?
PompeyVillan
Genuine question: How difficult is it to defend a corner? So teams are good at it, some teams are okay at it, some teams are poor at it. We are absolutely dreadful at it. Second questions: How difficult is it for a Premier League club to be as bad as we are at defending corners?

Tayls
I disagree with the way in which we defend corners. I want a full report on why we are so shit.
andym
its not just practicing heading it away we need to do. managers get scouting reports on opponents, we would know who the biggest threats from set pieces were. so why we had lichaj and not vlaar or clark on their most dangerous player i dont know. its simple game planning, yet we dont seem to do it, because regularly we dont match up players correctly at set pieces.
