he got 5 goals the season before Ranieri came in and was linked with a transfer away from Leicester that summer but Ranieri trusted him

He was linked with a transfer to us, but we decided to get Rudy Gestede instead 🙄🙄🙄

Interesting little period for them now....Arsenal, Everton, Chelsea and Man. United in their next 6 games although you suspect they'll pick up decent results in two of those games.

Shot shy team like Palace sticking 4 past them isn't something I expected so their defence is getting a bit exposed now with Phillips a big miss in DM role. They've also missed Rodrigo moving around forward line in last two games.

Still very much a case of first goal wins v them.

I do look forward to Bielsa vs Bruce

Probably be two draws or Leeds win with late counter attack goal.

Bielsa v Pulis in championship in 18/19 was two draws which is probably closest comparison.

Actually they met in 2019 run in  as forgot SB was at Sheff Weds for a few months...1-0 Leeds win.

Phillips is back next league game. They are missing him.

Since they played us leeds have not played anywhere near the levels in that game.

Most teams win most of the time when they score first.

Most teams fail to win most of the time when they concede first.
It’s not really a Leeds thing.

Yes but Leeds are the best at it. It hasn't been the same without them. We're lucky to have them back where they belong.

Don’t forget Bielsa the genius... who still doesn’t even speak English.

Stats until this season show it’s around 70% this season I’d guess that’s right out the window.

The sample size with Leeds is much too small to draw many conclusions, this season they’ve scored first in 4 games and won 3 of them (75%).

Villa have won all 4 games where they scored first, and lost both games where they didn’t score first.

It’s not a Leeds thing, it’s just football.

Big player for them for sure.

I wonder how we'd cope without Luiz for a few games.

But he is a genius.

The person who invented the wheel is still a genius. People after him may have improved the idea and made them more effective but that doesn't take anything away from the innovator.

He's a 64 year old man. Probably get bigger priorities in his life than learning perfect English for sky interviews. He speaks English in training but its not completely fluent.

Probably other reasons to learn the language of the country you live in than a 2 minute post game interview with Sky. He’s been here 2 and a half years and can’t speak English enough to describe how he felt the game went.

This must hamper him hugely to coach a team.

So he turned around an entire club in two years while still being hampered hugely?

Christ if he could speak English they'd be no stopping him

Maybe he wouldn’t be getting thrashed by Crystal Palace and Leicester if he could communicate better during a game. It’s possible.
