'They have character that we are missing, a drive to win at all costs'

We've won twice as many games as them this season.

Over the last thirty-eight league games we've taken forty-six points, they've taken thirty-four, again only Southampton have been in worse form than them.

So this so called character and drive not doing them much good, they've won just two of their last nineteen in the league.

They haven't got the technical ability , their players aren't good enough but they have a character that we lack. If we can get get , grow or whatever it takes to get that character then we won't fade in games like we did against City and Leicester.

Imagine if they got Gerrard, it would be hilarious.  Most of their threat seems to come from wide players like Gnonto, Harrison and Summerville.

Stevie would have those three straight on the scrap heap to accommodate his ultra narrow system.

Can just see it now, Ayling providing the only attacking width lol.

Drive to win that has 13 wins in the last 60 league games and conceding 128 goals in that time

What we need at VP

I think whats attracting them to gerrard is mccalister as number 2. They love him up there.

Why not just hire mccalistwr as no 1 instead of gerrard?

Please let it be stevie g. He will pick up a couple wins before he ruins them

Because he was shit managing Leeds in League 1

Your not grasping it are you? They have shit players that are over achieving even if they are losing every game. I watched them against manure and they played well but have no quality, especially up front , Bamford isn't good enough.

Thats not a winning attitude though. They have shit players with good energy levels that work hard

Ashley Young has more of a winning attitude than entire Leeds team combined

Schreuder was also at the Leeds players hotel and some reports that he'd been shown around their facilities, the idea that he was at the game because of Ten Hag and McLaren is just a convenient excuse so they don't have to admit they changed their minds because of fan pressure, as that doesn't reflect well on them or Schreuder himself.

Besides he'd been linked with the job days before and had become favorite with the betting companies, it wasn't as if the rumour started just because he was at the game yesterday, by that time he was already favorite for the job, would be one hell of a coincident if he just happened to be visiting Man Utd coaching staff just as he's been heavily linked to the managerial job of the team they're playing.

A lot of Leeds fans seem to think the link to Schreuder was some skilfully orchestrated charade by their board, to fill them with a sense of dread at the idea of his appointment so when instead someone like Nuno is appointed that appointment will be more palatable, leaking a name to the press with such an endeavour in mind is one thing, but inviting manager to a game, have him visit players at hotel, and so on is something else, no board going to go to that length.

Also not sure why they would have to do anything at all to make Nuno seem a better option, Leeds fans talk about him as if he's a Steve Bruce type or something, but truth be told he's probably the best, or at least the most proven manager out of all the realistic names they've been linked with, not saying he's an amazing, but for a club in their position they would be lucky to get him.

Gerrard would be such a strange appointment, so much is riding on them suriving this season, so would be bizzare for them to appoint someone that failed with us, would perhaps be a little more understandable if they could get Beale as well but that's not going to happen, although their board were apparently admirers of Gerrard as a manager before he came to us so who knows.
