To be honest I hope Vlaar stays but I don't think he's irreplaceable, maybe he's made to look better than he is for the simple reason the rest of our defence last season was pretty woeful. But If you'd have asked me the same question a couple of seasons ago I wouldn't have thought of Vlaar. I'm sure there are players out there as equally capable as Ron. If Vlaar does go and I hope he doesn't I trust Lambert to find a suitable replacement if he's given the money. He might even find a better player if we get good money. And that's what matters to us, As long as he's not tempted by another club who talks to him behind our back and he then does his best to get out of here. I don't think he's the kind of player to do that, but that of course also depends on his agent. If manure comes in for him, which I doubt, I think we'll find it very hard to keep him. so'ton on the other hand will hopefully have to stump up the big cash. And they've got the big cash. Also, Okore could turn out to be an outstanding defender, but with Baker/Clark/Senderos next to him, we might be dreadful.
