shaggy
Think it is more an attitude than ability problem which unfortunately affects the other.
chappy
He was ok last season defo had more desire and passion. Scoring 2 jammy goals doesn't proove PL quality for me though. Jammy? They were f'in superb and very much intentional. One was possibly intentional - the other was pure jam took a massive deflection. If that goal against Stoke was "possibly" intentional I'd like to see what he can do when he really tries to take on a shot
Skruff
Don't think he wants to be here. Looks nonchalant compared to last season. Just doesn't care, affects his game.

Shame he hasn't at all this season.
kurtsimonw
"Possibly intentional" I think you're right, it wasn't completely intentional, he was trying to give Begovic some catching practice and over hit it.

Dante_Lockhart
TBH unless you're a Villa fan I doubt you want to be here either. Had high expectations of Lowton, sad to see that he's fading into obscurity.
dn1982
He's not the first and won't be the last player to suffer 2nd season syndrome. There's a very good footballer there whether he's a very good RB is a different question!

djdabush
Middlesbrough are in for him Where's that from? There's some Sky Sports journo who has tweeted about it, presumably he's read it there.
KJT123
Graeme Bailey, sky sports journo. Don't know what to feel really. Lowton was beyond poor last season, but the season before that he was brilliant. That performance he put in versus Sunderland was one of the very best I've seen in a villa shirt

rodders0223
He was poor last seaspn, for whatever reason. Confidence or coasting I don't know. would give him another season, but I think Lambert has either lost faith in him or had enough of him. Middlesbrough haven't got two pennies to run together so they can **** off.
caw2510
will always be a better rb than bacuna if hutton is 1st choice matt should be second
omariqy
Hutton and Bacuna in front of him I think.
Isa
As a defender, he is woeful. He has no basic defensive sense which is bad enough but he doesn't even have the mobility to compensate for it. Hutton and Bacuna are easily ahead of him in my eyes, which sums up my estimation of him.
samjp26
Although I feel he did well overall in the position last season, I am not looking forward to Bacuna battling against Hutton for the RB slot, especially as Bacuna has looked lively in pre-season being played further up the pitch. I'd much rather we sold Lowton if he is off, this isn't going to benefit us at all.
omariqy
If Lowton is moved on then hopefully means we are getting a wide player in as it would seem Bacuna would be fighting for the RB position.
ROTTERDAM1982
No Pace, no acceleration. All players had to do was stand him up then push the ball past him, he had no recovery pace.Good at going forward, good cross, but not good enough defensively imho for a Prem Lge FB.
