I don't actually see us buying anyone that's not lower league...

The rumours are there, but nothing's happening...

Not sure on Macheda, was hoping for more of a solution rather than a quick fix loan

Yes, yes, very good.

Don't shoot the messenger, I'm just passing on what I'm reading. Can't hurt on loan anyway.

Macheda didn't impress when he was on loan at Sampdoria.

It was a while ago, maybee he's improved since then but i don't think he'd be better than what we got already

benayoun? don't we have ireland for this, do not see them both in a side

If Benayoun arrived we would now have a player who can do "this" much much better...

so Ireland can warm the bench

I do agree with you mate, suppose it gives us strength and depth, I wonder if he would command high wages, or is it a loan and Chelsea pick up some of his wages, this I would be happy with

Benayoun has only played 27 games since 2010

8 at Chelsea 19 at Arsenal

Alot of those were not starts as well he came off the bench alot of times according to Wiki

Thats pretty poor was he injured or just not good enough to get in the first team?

Ive always imagined him to be injury prone the last thing we need is another Jermaine Jenas

Nope, Benayoun is a much better player, plus he's a lot more versatile since he can be played in a wider role or off the striker. Ireland just floats about and no one seems to know his best position.

Benayoun still has a lot to offer, I think he could be a cracking signing.
