Major overhaul of scouting not just due to PL even though it was his recommendation on this guy ! They want to have in place a proper scouting systen to assist whoever is the Manager so it becomes the clubs scouting set up not the managers ! In answering your question don't know but the real fruit of this I assume will be next summer MM can we play 20 questions with the name you know is under consideration? He has also been proven to be wrong, I seem to remember him saying we were not getting a certain ginger manager. We all know how that ended up. I wouldn't take AVB's comments at face value - there's a lot of smokescreens swirling around at Spurs currently. I think there's a decent chance that Spurs will sign another striker, in which case, given Defoe's strong desire for regular first team football, it wouldn't surprise me greatly (but still a little bit) if Defoe is allowed to leave.
