Risso Posted November 11, 2011 Share Posted November 11, 2011 I gave up on multiplayer last night and got halfway through the single player, which is actually very good, and the best of the last three games I'd say. The multiplayer really is a lot of shite though, and that's not just because I keep getting whupped. I did on MW2 and Black Ops to start with, but I enjoyed the maps mostly, so wanted to persevere. There were some shit maps which I'd pass on, eg Hanoi in Black Ops, but loads I really enjoyed. These maps are all so uninspired, what on earth were they thinking? For example, I just had 2 predator missiles, 2 helicopters and an AC-130 in one life. The game in question resulted in me getting 39 kills and 3 deaths, partly as a result of all the killstreaks i'm sure. Have you not tried a reaper drone yet lol first game i played i got one in a supply crate got about 12 kills and it lasts foreverAre they the ones that you can fire heat seeking missiles out of? HolteEndRob Posted November 12, 2011 Share Posted November 12, 2011 The guns are shit! The weapons in black ops piss all over the weapons in this. Most of the perks are shit. Stuff like having to give up your grenades if you want to use bouncing betties or claymores is shit aswell. The majority of the maps are too small. I got 26 kills and no deaths on 'village' earlier just by running round the map in an anti clockwise circle. The campaign mode is good but I've only been doing a couple of missions at a time to keep myself more interested. Same goes for special ops. Now you mention it, my reasoning for not buying the special edition thing was because IW have an awful DLC record and it just wasn't worth the £80, it never came into my head what if the game is just bad. The game is so random and a full party doesn't change anything, they'll still spawn all around you and you'll still all struggle to do anything. Nothing about the game will get changed I don't think. Patches will mostly be for more technical issues like problems with parties and the like. Found some dude skulking in the corner of one of the maps (the destroyed highway one, I can't remember the names yet), he was just sat there in front of a pile of (and I shit ye not) 7 crates. Went some way to explaining how they constantly had air support up, but I took great pleasure in killing the little shit, stealing half his crates, getting an EMP in one of them and levelling the entirety of their air support in one go. 8) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ran MP5 plus some duel wield secondary and it's stupidly overpowered. Managed to get the Escort Airdrop twice in the game which gave me a tonne of stuff to play with and rack up the kills. It's not broken beyond repair like MW2, but it's still far too easy to just run away with a game and dominate because of overpowered classes. The multi-player is virtually the same as MW2, albeit the maps aren't as good and it takes a couple more shots to kill someone. That's it.
