Haven't even started the single player yet. Can you set up a multiplayer game vs the console like you could on B.Ops? AshVilla Posted November 8, 2011 Share Posted November 8, 2011 Had a hilarious time with that kill streak reward the one that releases 4 bombs like an uber claymore camped at the top of the stairs on one of the maps only one way up because people are new i guess they thought it was a one use thing so one after another they came back for more got another 4 kills just sitting there didnt need to fire a shot then another 6 on top with nades and the m16 love this game The only thing i do not like it all the maps appear crowded not very sniper friendly Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm sure it's still the same great game and in a way it's good for the industry, it sells like nothing else which gets people in stores and gives retail a shot in the arm. And it's kinda cool that it's like, a genuine event in gaming. But it just looks so tired now. The same game 4 years on the trot that has only really tweaked things slightly in that time. There's a few things in there that are still pretty poor like the spawning and lack of recoil on any gun. But the new streak system is superb and I think I'm happy to go back to more of the old style of getting your guns through ranking up, rather than just buying them. COD points were a nice change, but this way is better. First few games I played were dominated by air support and I had the "here we go again.." feeling, but since then you get the odd chopper or something in the air, but its not too much. Keeping my K/D ratio above 2.3 and on level 30. Really want my claymores back though. It really does frustrate the hell out of me though this game, there have been some situations i have had to watch the kill cam to work out just how exactly id been killed by someone, didnt have that with black ops. I'm liking the IMS alot personally, seems unavoidable if it's placed in a nice position so you could be alooking at a few guarenteed kills in a high traffic area. Escort Airdrop takes a while to come in and takes alot of kills, but very cool and with it dropping 5 packages chances are you'll pick up something pretty handy. I had my site right on a guy not even looking at me and starting shooting him. None of my bullets hit him even though my site was clearly on him. Graphics are the best ive seen in a COD game yet and the story the best yet too. I think im near the end of the game, probably 1 or 2 missions left. Had a quick couple of games on MP after that and first impressions are good. I'm liking the IMS alot personally I got that in a care package. Plonked it down and spent the next few minutes looking at it thinking 'what the fook is that?!' But yeah, im liking this game. Tonight is gonna be all about the MP.... Theres a paid version which adds some extra features like competitions, but most importantly gives you a years subscription to the DLC which will be released monthly. It gives you early access to them as well, basically meaning you don't need to wait for the map packs to be released. Hardened edition is the premium edition of the game that includes the paid Elite subscription as well as some other bonuses. As far as I'm aware there is no Prestige edition this year. The Intel pack is a bonus given away with preorder purchases at Gamestation and Game, including double XP for your first 4 hours a mini strategy guide, an avatar download and some artcards.
