Great technique on the finish, him and Robinson look good friends from the celebration too.

Daniel Johnson is still at Preston I believe? 3 of our youth products doing well

Chris Herd off to Thailand

Did he used to sport a big fop of hair?

I was trying to think of who the youth player was a few years back who was touted as a bit of a Jack Grealish.  I remember him playing in a cup game with his big stupid hair and gave away a totally unnecessary free kick in a dangerous area, got a bit of stick from the crowd and when the hubbub died down I shouted at the top of my voice "and get your hair cut"

Got some weird looks from people sat around me but his buffont had really offended me for some reason.

Anyway I came on here to find out what happened to him.  It may have been Chris Heard but a quick Google of his old pictures don't reveal the barnet I was thinking of.

EDIT I think it was, in a sudden flash of inspiration I thought is was against Tranmere and indeed Chris Heard did play in a cup game v Tranmere in 2012.

Bacuna's range of passing was the standard of a child

How many more times is Bacuna going to give it away cheaply.

Bacuna - didn't realise he was playing.

Bacuna did ok as a defensive CM, despite some poor passing

Is it me or does Bacuna get worse with every game he plays

Bacuna is struggling (with an anke injury) but should play.

Bacuna is struggling but should be fit.

Bacuna's range of passing was the standard of a child, but he battled hard and won the ball back well. He is so obviously a confidence player.

Leandro Bacuna: 6

Some sloppy moments on the ball, but energetic and hard-working off it.

Bacuna 6 - Produced a lovely chip over the Rovers defence for the assist which Bodvarsson latched onto for the first goal. Lost possession though several times by lingering on the ball for too long. Better in the second half.

Bacuna was frustrating today but at least he drives forward with intent. Tries to make things happen in the opposition third.

Bacuna and Swift did well against Brum and that performance is all we have to hold onto this season so far.

Swift and Bacuna actually dominated the midfield. Couple of dodgy passes each but they looked fit, strong and aggressive.

Thought that was the best I’d seen our midfield for ages. Swift tracked back nicely a number of times and ran his backside off. Bacuna played nicely alongside him and they looked strong and athletic. It wasn’t perfect but it was better.

Never understand why people write players off. Villa fans were laughing at us about Bacuna, and he is probably our most technically gifted footballer.

Bacuna 6 - A lively display from the midfielder in attack and defence. Produced the corner for Moore's header. Distribution not too bad from set-pieces but passing rather erratic. Kept going until the end.

Bacuna 7: One of our better players, but surrounded in midfield with c**p.

Bacuna can be good sometimes but is quite inconsistent

Bacuna is fine. Good delivery on the corner for Moore's goal. Keep him on corners and wide free kicks.

Credit to Bacuna today who I thought was excellent on the whole

Centre mid is a bit of a concern as Kelly has gone backwards but Bacuna is a decent player if he gets his head together

Bacuna would be good in a Brian team. The rest of our hapless midfield is letting him down.

Zip, here’s a question. If we got Warnock, how do you reckon he’d change the team player and formation wise?

Frankly he would want all our central midfielders out of the door. He wants workers not shirkers. I suppose Bacuna might stand a chance. That’s about it though.

Darren Bent has told talkSPORT he ‘100 per cent’ wants to join Steven Gerrard’s Rangers revolution.

Bent, the striker, is currently without a club having being released by Derby at the end of last season. He spent the second half of 2017/18 on loan at Burton Albion, and he has been training with the Brewers since the summer.

What planet is he on?
