AvfcRigo82
Exactly. Brad has done enough for me so far to want to keep him as our current No.1. .
Morpheus
He was beaten at his near post yesterday and was at fault for that but having that shambles of a defence in front of him certainly didn't help.
AvfcRigo82
What was the score at the time of this incident at the near post Morph? .
KjParton
The near post incident also took a deflection off Stevens, which took the ball from far post to near post, he probably should have reacted faster though.
VillaChris
Are we forgetting Given conceded two at Swindon for those that think his return will magically make us keep clean sheets?
Morpheus
What was the score at the time of this incident at the near post Morph? . What does that matter. Are you saying that he didn't try as hard to make a save due to the state of the game?
DeepDish
No way we should drop the keeper that has been most solid this season due to a positional error that brought a goal when the shot was reflected.
PB
He hasnt been quite as solid last couple of games imo. Id look to bring Given back next week tbh
VillaChris
What did he do wrong against United?
KjParton
I'd keep him in definitely though. Have no more faith in Given.
Stevo985 Posted November 19, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted November 19, 2012 This happens a hell of a lot on VT. A keeper suddenly becomes shit in the eyes of this board and everythign ends up being their fault. Hope that doesn't happen with Guzan as he's been one of our best players this season. I think Salifou syndrome plays a part too.
AVFCforever1991
Been one of our best performers this season, would rather stick with Guzan than put Given back in.

AvfcRigo82
What does that matter. Are you saying that he didn't try as hard to make a save due to the state of the game? Noooo. I want an asnwer to my question instead of answering my question with a question. So once again. What minute of the game did Guzan get beat at his near post that you referred to (against man city). . AvfcRigo82
..oh and another good performance tonight from 'No Goal For You' Guzan. Was quiet funny to hear half the ground shout "No Goal for You" everytime he saved/caught the ball. Top stuff.
VillaChris
Loved how dominant he was at the end when Le Fondre was trying to take his head off. Desevedly number one, pleased he's now getting the clean sheets to back it up.
Stevo985 Posted November 28, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted November 28, 2012 When the ball is in the air in the area I'm fully confident Guzan will claim it. It's nice
