mikeyp102
I think lockdown is doing things to my head, having not really liked the genre before (although knowing some of the songs), I’ve found myself really wanting to listen to garage this morning. I had a Sambuca, and it only took 21 seconds, before I was loving It loving it, and felt like I was in Ayia Napa

bickster Posted April 26, 2020 Moderator Share Posted April 26, 2020 Still on the CDs, I'm down to Compilations now. I have a few in the pile that look to have surface wear and scratches, so I'm having to stick them in and play them. I was disappointed to see that this and Vol 2 looked to be in a bad way. Both play perfectly. This is staying on, it's tremendous even by On-U standards and I'd sort of forgotten about Vol 5 2badcard - Weed Specialist, absoultely outstanding. I'm going to have to source the album now

There's a nice track or two, but it's not mixed well. There's some solo tunes from more recent times on Soundcloud, but they're totally forgettable. They really lost it and it's a real shame.

choffer Posted April 27, 2020 VT Supporter Share Posted April 27, 2020 (edited) No idea how this found its way onto my phone (my guess it it's probably referenced 37 pages back in this thread) but it's bleak and dark - like the soundtrack to a post-apocalyptic world. I love it. Olivier Cong - City of Strange. Edited April 27, 2020 by choffer
