Well she's gone, and the house feels so empty without her. The wife dropped her off today to some woman who lives on a farm in Halesowen and has 5 other dogs. She's a lovely woman and animal mad so I'm happy she's found a good home. Infact it's the perfect home as she will have lots of company and will go on walks up to 4 hours a day. She's just surrounded by fields so what more could a dog ask for. She seems to have settled in ok and the other dogs have accepted her. Just see how the next few days go. She's invited us down to visit whenever we want  so that's great too. Absolutely gutted though but we done right by her. Beautiful girl.

5 weeks until this little fella arrives. May I present Sir Winston Churchill II - English Bulldog!

My wife and I have always wanted one and finally work has settled so we won't be both traveling constantly. Any top tips for 1st time puppy owners?

Training, training, and training! (Take em to a group training session as it helps with socialisation)

Wicked fun too!

Whilst on holiday we had a call from the kennels that one of my dogs was ill. This was out of the blue, we raced back but he died. From nowhere his kidneys failed and within 48 hours the little fella was dead. We are still coming to terms with it.

And there's no reason to suspect the kennels of any wrongdoing?  I'd be naturally suspicious.

No, Its something my wife has thought about but I prefer not to. He was hugely epileptic and was on a lot of medication, a lot for a small dog, 4 tablets twice a day, he also had regular blood tests. not connected to his epilepsy, and his diet was excellent. I dont know, it came from nowhere.
