terrytini Posted August 23, 2018 Share Posted August 23, 2018 Whether he plays well or not, he is still the oil in the engine and his runs, touch, and football brain would be sorely missed. Personally I thought he played pretty well last night, and having now watched the TV version still do. praisedmambo Posted August 24, 2018 Share Posted August 24, 2018 Just watched the game for the first tine. I knew the score so was able to watch it objectively. I can't believe people are saying he had a bad game. He was exceptional and on a whole different level to everyone else on the pitch. Overall it was a surprisingly good performance from everyone against a good team. Maybe the best performance under Bruce. He got the ball and then he passed it on and then he jogged after. Watch the game back again—he gets the ball and runs round about three players every single time. I was a bit in awe I have to say.
